The purpose of the MnGCA is to provide a resource for Minnesota geocachers to organize activities and events that will improve the credibility of the sport, protect our natural resources and strengthen the community of geocachers in the state of Minnesota. Our responsibilities include holding educational, social and informational activities to increase awareness of our sport; to sponsor reports, meetings, and workshops for MnGCA members and the public on a wide area of topics, primarily about responsible land use and geocaching; and to work with local, county, and state governments to promote geocaching as a family-oriented outdoor activity.

Some of the most challenging caches in Minnesota have been created by EskoClimber. Some of these favorites are Highline (GC3EHXK) and Cliff Hanger (GCQ6D4). If there's something to climb or some high adventure to be had, you'll find EskoClimber there. Not only has he created some of the best caches in the state, but he’s also found over 20,000 caches so far! I could think of no one better to profile this month than EskoClimber!
Over 75 people attended the 2014 Spring Event at Oxbow Park near Rochester on May 3.
On the days around April 26, scores of Minnesota geocachers dedicated their time in cleaning up parks and geocaching friendly areas during CITO (Cache In Trash Out) events all around the State. Keeping the public lands enjoyable for everyone and being good stewards of the lands are key components of geocaching.
The design has been chosen! Very nice design, indeed!
The ordering process will begin later this week. Orders will be accepted through March 20, 2014.
The 2013 Cache of the Year is GC47072: For Your Eyes Only

We haven't done a huge number of multi caches but this is, in my opinion, the most challenging yet enjoyable multi stage cache I have seen yet.
