Cache page
It's on a Friday night, the Twins' first game home after a road trip, and the first of the last three regular season games. It's fan appreciation weekend, and it's against Cleveland.
I have the "Going to a TWINS game Moving Cache"
If you're going to the game, get your tickets early. I heard a "rumor" that Santana will be pitching that day. |

Sounds fun.....
Plus, I am buying beverages at the post event.
(Don't forget about the street painting in St Paul on 9/25 -- I'll get wallypog to get busy posting some coords for that!!!! The whole thing should only take about 2 hours with enough) |

7 corners...
Bullwinkle's, Grandma's, Whiskey Junction
but...I'd suggest the bar right outside of the dome...I forget the name of it....
or you could just hit all the bars on 7 corners....and watch for people looking for the micro.... |

Hubert's is right outside of the Dome on 6th. It's always a major zoo and parking around there can be problematic. There are lots on Washington Avenue that could be used, but lots of rowdy tailgaters start quite early and usually leave their messes behind I work downtown and park in those lots.
I could suggest a couple of other places... Grumpy's or Maxwell's on Washington Avenue. Close to the Dome, more fun than Huberts (IMO).
So are we meeting at the site of the first cache on the list? I actually haven't attempted to visit any caches in downtown Minneapolis, so I'd like to join you all. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm thinking Grumpy's might be cool.

Actually, they're probably not in a very good order. I just listed them as I found them. If someone wants to make an organized schedule, I'll change the page.
This was one of the fastest approvals I've ever gotten. I got the idea yesterday afternoon, ran it by Silent Bob (he dropped the $1000 royalty fee for a beer), and started writing the page. Went to bed at 6:00 pm, got up at 11:00 pm to get ready for work. Added a couple graphics. Went to work at 1:00 am and finished up the site, then submitted it. When I went on break at 2:00 am, it was approved.
Thanks, mtn-man |

Because of the recent success of the Get Sauced series I have raised the royalty fees to $2500 or two and a half beers Donations of liquid gold are greatly appreciated! _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I have some questions about the "The Get Sauced Event V--Dome Ball Style" I
tried reading the info on the MNGCA and could not find out what I need.
What I would like to know is how does this work? I am currently not a MNGCA
member and have never attended a Geocaching event.
Do we meet at the first cache? Or do we look for the caches on our own and just
meet at the bar to talk about how fast we found them?
If you could respond soon it would be great because we will be with another
couple that we got into geocaching last year.

Hi Ron,
My name is Ian. There has to be a "plan" listed, in order to get it
approved. The reality is that you're pretty much on your own, until you meet
up with others. It's hard to do as a total group event, due to timing,
travel, 'caching, and the game.
I'm going to be downtown at noon. zoejam72 is meeting me, and we're gonna
hang out where the players enter. Around 3:00 we'll probably visit the
museum, do a couple nearby caches, then meet some people on the Plaza around
5:00 - 5:30
Are you going to the game? There is a cache inside the Dome. After the game,
some (most?) of us will head to a bar. If it's not Grumpy's, I'm sure it
will be decided prior to the game.
Hope this helps.

I was going to post a quote from the Geocaching web page but someone seems to be
changing it as I talk here.
So start time does not seem real critical. We were wondering because it had two
different start times. One at 4:00 and one at 5:30 - Game.
Let me know if I got this right
We start when ever we feel like it - This is good due to work schedules.
If we meet up with some others Ok if not Ok.
Go to the Game. - Game starts at 7:10 - Yes we are going.
After the game go to "??" bar to hang out. - Hopefully it will be posted by
then.
I did register on MNGCA but I did not receive an email conformation yet. If I
do not receive it after a while (day or 2) I will try registering again (I
probably screwed up something)
