thanks to rules governing temporary caches, i realize that a cache during the renaissnace festival is prohibited, which is too bad, since it would be a decent venue for such a thing. (although i could see where stealth would pose a problem.) anybody have any recommendations for caches near there? i'm probably not going to sit down to do any homework until thursday night or friday, but if someone can name a couple of the top of their head, it would be appreciated.

Could always place a temp and just advertise the coords here, or even on Navicache.

There are about a half dozen in the Shokopee area. There are a couple in the vicinity of the RF itself if I recall but they are down the walking trail about half a mile I think.

RF is a great time. Go there every year at least once. The kids love it. I eat to much and drink even more. Alway make the wife drive home. Good Times.

KB has or had a couple caches down the trail--you drive past RF and park in a lot, and walk from there--one is or was as Jabs farm, and other one was on the way, before you cross the creek, but it was lost when the DNR did a controlled burn in the area a couple years ago. But from the parking area and down the trail, one can find lots of areas to put a cache or two.
