So, I spent the afternoon crawling around in knee deep snow. Rolling Eyes

I found two caches but got skunked at two more. Anybody know which local caches are "above ground" and can be found without resorting to digging through the snow and perhaps damaging the landscape? I know of a few, but there must be more.

I'll post the Feb. cache o' the month which is a good winter cache. Look for it around Feb. 15! Very Happy

My Donie Galloway Riverside Park cache should not require digging through the snow. And while you are up in the area, Isildur's Bane's Have a Heart is above the snow line as well.

I have a couple that are above snow line.

1. Wood lake nature center, #GC7E9F

2. Veterans Park, I don't have the number handy, it is in Richfield too.

3. I have one inside of a rock, I guess that could be considered underneath it. #GC9EE4 You might have to push some show away for this one, but it is close to the trail.

Triple C, out in Oakdale isn't bad for winter either.

Not to nit pick but the Triple C cache is in Woodbury. I should know I put it there.

Since this is Minnesota, I suppose winter still applies--who else planted annuals when it got warm, only to watch them struggle to survive the last couple of days?
