That sounds like a good idea, and I like the idea of sponsoring a race. That could be positive exposure for geocaching by "getting our name out" in a public venue. My company (Proex Photo) has sponsored several races in the past.

just a note:

betting is NOT required

watching the races can be enjoyable without any 'action'

there is a nice playground nearby for the young 'cachers

~ bump ~

Kitch and I are planning a Thursday/boxing or Friday/Beer special night. I'll post links/info later. ANYONE interested?

I'll definitely be there on May 8th.

Hey KB - Since I've never been to Canterbury, is there a particular entrance we need to use for the special admission price? Is it obvious once we enter where the get together will be? Thanks...

I've looked for diagrams of the park, but haven't found anything yet. I'll get some directions or a graphic up on the event page tomorrow.
