Ok, So I made a big "no no" this weekend. I was up camping in scenic state park. I'm new to geocaching and I decided I would set a cache. After getting back home I realized "gee, shouldn't I live close to a cache that I set?" So now there is a cache that is in the state park that is "unknown". Would anyone want to co-sponsor this cache or go get it and place it somewhere else? It is a medium size ammo can. I can give coordinates for anyone that wants to go find it. I will not be posting another cache for a while. Boy am I stupid.
sorry!

Other problem is that geocaches in Minnesota State Parks are not legal. _________________ I am amazed by how many people harp on the need to speak and write English in this country while exhibiting a fundamental lack of skills in the areas of spelling and sentence composition. Would this be irony, hypocrisy, or both? |

Hi Ryan
There is a prescribed punishment for this type of mistake.
First, you have to find the cache "Snipe Hunt".
Second, you must go to 5 King Boreas caches (your choice) and perform cache maintenance on them. This includes drying out the log books and putting new plastic bags around everything.
Third, you must complete Artic Airborne's "GPS Knowledge" cache.
Fourth, you must attend any "Get Sauced" or "Breakfast Buddies" event.
Once you complete all of these tasks, you will be restored to good standing in the geocaching community.
Good Luck!

I had wondered about that, talked to the person working at the park, she said it was fine, clearly she was wrong.

Uhm, someone edited my post. I guess i'll have to PM you or something.
So anyone want the items needed to set up a cache?
I have pic's, gps cords, and know exactly where it is for an easy find |

Wow! Are you sure it was a State Park and not county or some other jurisdiction? _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Biology Major off and on from 1986 to 1992--working part time at Big Sky, getting season passes at Bridger, and owning climbing gear and a mountain bike really work wonders with that ol' GPA!!! _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |
