This is a question about hobo camps, homesteaders, bums, whatever you want to use to describe them.

I know there are parks people monitoring this site. I've probably found a dozen of these areas over the past year. I can't just pick a spot to camp where I want, yet these people hold down a spot for a long time. Although I've never truly felt threatened, I don't think it's good park policy to allow it. Do they want to know, and how do I report it?

I call the local police on the non-911 line, if I can find the number. If you don't think they're that much of a threat, look at what happened with the 3rd Ave. bridge yesterday--apparantly, it was some of those less fortunate folk that broke the lock and got into the tunnels under Minneapolis. I've seen the camps, but I haven't come across any of the people--I guess they can be really territorial, and might not be all that mentally stable.

LOL. Yet another example of why there should be a minimum find count before you can hide a cache. I won't even get into the fact that his profile is full of commercial information.

The container apparently had holes that they tried to "waterproof" with scotch tape.

Then we'd have to wait a few extra months before submitting "Should Be Archived."
