Okay, I'll just hold off awhile. We have plenty of time. I'll talk to Zoejam72 also, they have a canoe. _________________ APRS: Combining Hamradio with a GPSr.

I have registered and placed myself within "Team MnGCA". It asked for a team captian so I gave Moe's real name. Hey - he named it and got the ball rolling!
Jill is in as well. That's 3 for sure - who's with us!?! |

I'm number 4! I signed up as team MnGCA and I didn't know Moes last name. I know the first.
If you pledge for me, Shane Minor, you will be able to SEE where your donation is going! HERE

OK, OK! I'm number 5! Geez, you guys are worse than Articabn when it comes to advance planning!
Anyone considering pledging money to support this worthy cause ought to remember the original: "Moe the Sleaze" aka Chuck King.

Just having fun with the tracker and trying to get sponsors without working for it. _________________ APRS: Combining Hamradio with a GPSr.

I have to bail out. I have to do my 2 weeks of Annual Training for the MN Army Nation Guard over that weekend at Camp Ripley. I tried to get out of it! But the Youth camp will be on post at that time and they need me to help out.
This is a bummer! I'll redirect my traffic to your webpage Chuck!

You need a kayak/canoe and the desire to paddle it for 44 miles over two days. There is an entry fee of $30, plus you need to raise a minimum of $200 in pledges towrds the Friends of the Mississippi River.
You will be camping overnight at Fort Snelling. The organizers will haul all of your camping equipment. All the info can be found at the MRC website. There is a link in the first post of the first page of this thread.
We'd love to have you join us Cooky, or anyone else! Bummer Twentyseven! _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

| Is there a limit to how many on a team? I saw 4 min. But is there a max limit? I have a canoe and another paddler would be cool! |

I don't believe there is an upper limit. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

I was fortunate enough to have all of last week off from work. During my time off I didn't find a single cache. Instead, I was getting myself ready for the Mississippi River Challenge by paddling 88 miles for the week, circumnavigating 16 lakes in the process.
The Mississippi River Challenge is one month away. As a reminder, this event is a fund raiser for the Friends of the Mississippi River. If you are at all interested in supporting this fine organization, I would appreciate your help in sponsoring me for the challenge. The easiest way to do so is by credit card by going to the event's online pledge page, select my name (Chuck King) from the pull-down menu, and fill in the rest of the requested information. Donations are completely tax deductable. I will be very grateful for your help! _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."
