I am deeply saddened by the idea that some cachers are more interested in a hypocritical commercial promotion than in local cachers/caches being recognized. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

A cache owner could justifiably take the position that these TB's are advertising, and do not belong in their caches.
A list of cache owners willing to accept these TB's into their caches should be used to disperse them.
Or just go with my Mud Wrestling idea. |

I wonder how fast they will be delisted from geocaching.com via a "server farm problem"? _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I trash out advertisements in all my caches, so keep that in mind.

Maybe we need a list of cachers who do not want these in their caches. It is important to respect that. One man's trash is another man's treasure, the opposite can be said as well. _________________ I am amazed by how many people harp on the need to speak and write English in this country while exhibiting a fundamental lack of skills in the areas of spelling and sentence composition. Good call, Kitch. I'm burned. I guess I never looked at them that way... they were just stickers to me, but you're 100% right.
I won't leave anymore (I don't have anymore!).

Okay now, those of you who are kind enough to leave fresh batteries in caches might want to start blacking in the lables so we can't tell what kind they are. WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!?
And yes, I'm just joking.
just noticing my icon, BTW, so its a jeep, I did not adopt that as my icon for this promo. Just happens to be what I drive... _________________ I am amazed by how many people harp on the need to speak and write English in this country while exhibiting a fundamental lack of skills in the areas of spelling and sentence composition. this is sooo stupid!!!
You mean to tell me that some people are going to be ticked off on my next cache because I'm going to put in a GARMIN t-shirt, Movie tickets to a "SHOWPLACE theater".
I better black out the name of the notebook by "MEAD" and the name of the "BIC" pen!!!!

No, they won't get ticked off. I repeat, I was just kidding, being a sarcastic smart ass with too much time on my hands! Although, in thinking about this, aren't the big GEOCACHING.COM stickers plastered on the sides of caches also advertising? _________________ I am amazed by how many people harp on the need to speak and write English in this country while exhibiting a fundamental lack of skills in the areas of spelling and sentence composition. By placing a cache w/one of those stickers and by listing it on GC.com I don't see it as commercialization. You are the cache owner and you chose to put that sticker there.
Geocaching.com has made the descision for the cache owners that Jeep is a sponsor and those advertisements can now be moved in and out of caches. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |
