This past weekend I fried my Oregon 450 (while going for an unintended swim at Myre Big Island SP) so I am now actively shopping for a slight upgrade. What do people recommend?

I WILL be buying this week.

I've had my eye on the Oregon 650t for some time. Just haven't bit the bullet yet. It's a little spendy.

We have the 650T and like it a lot. The unlimited caches are very nice. Unit seems to be very accurate and everything works. We moved to this from the 450, they are very similar.

Do not throw it away as Garmin will replace it for around $100 and have it back in less than a week. Call them as that is a great service. Then you will have a spare. Or it would be nice when you take out a newbie.
