| Big Sandy is not in Watch This Cache. I checked the cache on 25 FEB 2006 for the Laker. |

I have pulled all Lakers reported missing. I have also pulled several others that were in caches when the cache was archived or in caches that have been found several times since the Laker was dropped. If there seemed to be a chance that the Laker was still there I did not pull it.
Quite a few were logged by cachers then not dropped back into play. I have left these so that these cachers can be contacted. Consider it a wall of shame. |

I have brule in my possesion. I'm sure that I have already logged it out of "Let it snow". Not sure what the problem is there. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

The database says that it's been picked up by you. I'll let towlebooth know. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

http://www.mngca.org/lakers/laker.php?id=45
Is missing from GC7B09 - MOA cache...
It was not logged as picked up in the log book (as far as I could tell).
If I had to guess MSPMATT has it but no sign of that on any logs.
2 other people did visit from outta state on Sunday but no sign of them taking it in there logs as well.
I can confirm that I never saw this Laker in the MOA cache! I don't have it. |

I don't play the laker game...or at least I haven't yet played it; but was wondering, if it would be acceptable for those that do play the game and wanted to all chip in some cash to replace a few of them? Perhaps those that enjoy the game could "sponser a laker" and replace one missing laker; assuming that a deadline was placed and all sponsered lakers were purchased at one time to save on production costs...
Just a thought. |

I think that's a great idea! I've only found one (that went missing from my cache) but I think it was a great idea for getting the word out about the mngca. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Actually, we'd prefer if someone came up with an entirely new game instead but if someone wants to start a "Save the Lakers" fund we'll be happy to look into it. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

How about a "County" game. All the states counties would be the game pieces. And as a result, you make all the out state caching communities feel as much a part of the game. With this game, someone (GeoPierce probably) could come up with an interactive map to show what counties you have found. So the map would fill in as you found more pieces. Winner to be determined by who has the most shaded in counties by a set time.
