I just helped a TB called 'Patty's Mr Bill' to his goal cache in an Isanti county park.

Mr Bill has been traveling for 9 years and his owner hasn't signed on since 2005 or so. The woman he was meant to come home to may have passed away (I think I found her obit online.) Sad

Does anyone know Patty or her family? Here is the link.

I hope you can get some closure on this one. I experienced a similar situation a couple years ago. Someone had launched a TB that wanted to go visit the 911 memorial sites, a year after the tragedy. I had pulled it from a cache and knew I'd be going there soon so I took it along, took photos of it with the "sculpture" of the wreckage in Battery Park, on the memorial wall on the fire station across the street, and left it in a cache in the area. I wrote to the owner (who hadn't logged in in ages) and never heard back. It was still fun to help such a long traveling bug reach its goal.

Even if the owners never get the knowledge of the completed mission, there's something really cool about helping a bug that has managed to stay out there for so long. All but one of ours has long since been marked "missing."
