| We did this Earth Cache in Mexico during Spring Break and want to recommend it to anyone and everyone who is going to the area. The cache is a tour of an underground river. So it is helmets, wetsuits, and swimming in and out of stalagtites. First cache we ever had to get a blessing of a Mayan elder before attempting. The reward was a shot of some liqueur that was a mix of tequila, honey, and licorice. Definitely a unique experience that we only found due to geocaching. |

| My understanding is an Earth Cache is suppose to be a visit to a geological formation and the experience should be educational. So instead of looking for a container and log book, you have to email answers to a set of questions about the geological feature. Our general experience is they are actually a lot more work than a traditional cache to log, but they enhance the experience of seeing the feature. |
