Tonight I gave a basic presentation on geocaching to the Ham Lake Park and Tree Commission. I think they had all heard a little about caching and were surprised by the number of caches in the Ham Lake area. There were also some sample containers and a quick demonstration of the geocaching.com website. They all seemed very interested and, like usual, I probably talked longer than I needed to!
They did ask about adding a geocaching policy. They aren't interested in requiring a written application, but wanted to add something that showed geocaching was allowed in their parks . . .
If you know of a jurisdiction with a very basic policy - geocaching is allowed in public areas to the extent that it meets the guidelines of geocaching.com and has been approved . . . or something like that, let me know so I can forward it on to Ham Lake. They would like something simple that is already working in one or more areas. |

Do they do that in a note to Blaine or on the actual cache page? |

Do they do that in a note to Blaine or on the actual cache page? |
They are asked to note compliance via a Reviewer Note (archived after publishing) or on the cache page. Nothing is reported back to Blaine. |
