Just had a kinda strange conversation with the Hyland Lake visitor center. I'm hoping to bring a small group from my church on Nov 4 to try geocaching and called to double check on the gps loaner units. The guy said call that weekend because if there is snow they do not loan out the units. (?)
I asked why, since geocaching is a year round activity but he couldn't explain. Does anybody know if this is true and if so why? |

I dropped my GPS in the snow once. Finding it felt like about a 3.5 difficulty. I guess I put more energy into trying to catch it than I thought I did because my coords were way off. _________________ Ahhhhhhhh, the power of cheese! |
