The local news station has a "Get Fit" segment in their morning news program. One of the anchors had randomly asked a few months ago what things they should cover. Being the good little cacher I am, I suggested geocaching...for all the hiking aspects it could have. The result? Well...if you opt to watch the actual part on the news, you will find out. If not...."we dun did it again".
As of this posting, the anchor (who goes by "wxkuball" on GC) has 86 finds, with a new addition this morning.

We went to Bemidji and biked the Paul Bunyan trail, and put on some weight. Biking makes you hungry and thirsty....verrrry thirsty. Stupid beer. |

Last fall, after retiring from the Army Reserves, I started geocaching pretty hardcore. A year ago, I had less than 100 finds and now I'm closing in on 3000. Since then, I've dropped over 30 pounds, even after fracturing my ankle on New Year's Eve. Big thanks to tonkaMN for going out with me on a weekly basis and caching together. This is definitely good exercise!
