The date for the 2012 MNCGA Fall Event is scheduled for Saturday October 6, 2012.
The park is yet to be determined, but it will be in the northwest area of the Twin Cities. Please feel free to suggest a park. We are expecting 150-175 attendees.
The Election for the 2013 Board of Directors will take place at the event.
We are looking for volunteers to serve on the committee. We can use any and all help. Planning, day of event, and clean up.

First order of business: we need a park. Once we have that secured, we can get the Event Page going.

Are there city/county borders we want to keep the event inside? |

Are there city/county borders we want to keep the event inside? |
No, just the general area of the northwest side of the cities. Easy to get to would be a plus. |

Traditionally, we have always tried to get our events at locations where there is camping either in the location, or near by. If that is possible, I'd encourage the committee to do that again.

| Bunker Hills Regional park in Coon Rapids is a good park. They have an activity center for classroom events. Lots of trails to go geocaching on and spots for camping. |

WestSideDaddy wanted to have it at this park last year, but it was rejected because of no electrical hook up and leaking water, small shelter. Did they fix that? |
