I'm sure this is an easy dumb thing, but when I load maps onto our Oregon 450 or Dakota 20 that both have microSD cards installed the unit doesn't seem to use the SD card. I run out of memory at the 850kb of internal memory. Do I need to put the maps in a folder or change a setting or what? I load maps using Garmin Mapsource. Thanks for any help.

It's the easy dumb things that always trip me up. Have you created a Garmin folder on the SD card and dropped gmap.img into it? Also be sure to drop the .img file and not the zip file. Try that and let me know if it works. |
