For what it is worth, we have a form of a duplicate...but only because the nearest of its stripe is a good 55 miles or so North of us. We are along the Southern border....ours is for those random Iowegians that make it this far North (without getting lost..hehehehehe), as well as for those who are Mankato westward to have easier access. We even had the CO of the cache we are similar to come by for a visit with his own smiley! I think ours differs somehow from his, but slightly. Point being, we didn't do it to take away from his traffic, nor give someone an extra reason to gain an extra smiley. We did it for the same reason a couple of you want us to travel to Jordan and Golden Valley to find the caches
