Your nominations for February 2012 Cache of the Month are:
The Cage - A Night Cache - GC20PD6 by diehard50248
Nominated By: KRedEP
We enjoy well thought out caches that have a unique spin to them. This fits that bill and ranks high on our list of fun night caches. We have done many night caches - both during nighttime and daylight - but the method of delivering information at stage one we had never seen before. Having done this cache at the intended time - night - we're not sure this would even be possible during daylight without inside information. We can't tell more without spoiling the fun of stage one. At the beginning of stage two there are very nice and easy to follow eyes that lead right to the cache. This park has nice trails and the cache is an enjoyable evening. Join some friends and try it out.
UPV: A Puzzling Set of Circumstances – GC2KNKB by Bobcam.
Nominated By: sparkyfry
We put a lot of effort into finding this, but Bobcam put more effort into placing it. The terrain truly is five stars. It was a lot of fun working on this, and more effort than we were expecting. But it was a blast!
Runcible Spoon - GC2H3QG by ghost640.

If you have any words/reviews for any of the caches up for voting, please share then here by posting a reply...
Voting will be open till the end of the month*. Good luck to all the nominees and keep those great caches coming!
*Note: Due to how the polling works in phpBB the poll may be open for some time past 11:59:59 pm on the last day of the month, or may end sometime during the last day of the month. While we will do what we can to make sure this poll stays open through the month, there is no reason to wait till the last minute. You get one vote and it counts the same no matter when you make it. When a poll is open it is set to be open for a certain number of days, so if for some reason the poll can't be open right at 11:59:59 (say a production issue at work, busy with non-caching activities, feel asleep, etc) then there may be some 'bonus' voting time. |

I nominated this GREAT cache because of its creativity, uniqueness, imagination, difficulty of the hide and the terrain. Ghost640 put a lot of work in setting up this AWESOME multi-cache. The scouting effort alone must have taken extensive research.
Secondly, the imagination it took Ghost640 to tie this old time ryhme into the world of Geocaching was beyond his time. Ghost640 really got outside of his comfort zone to come up with this one.
I wish I could say more but if I did, I would give it away. You really need to come to Duluth and make this find to truly appreciate the depth and magnitude of the the beauty of this great cache, or as I call, treasure chest. |

Just a general reminder...if you have not voted, get to it soon. Once the poll is closed, it is closed and only the votes recorded by the polling system will be counted. _________________ You may only be young once...but I will be immature forever!!! |

The March 2012 Cache of the Month is:
Runcible Spoon - GC2H3QG by ghost640.
Nominated By: navychief98
Congratulations to ghost640 as well as all those that were nominated!!!
We will do our best to keep the voting open all month (for the April voting, I'm going to try and make it open for an extra day, but then decrease the amount of time once past 11:59:59 pm on 4/30) and end it as close to midnight as possible, but there is no need hold off voting, you have all month and your vote counts the same no matter when you make it.
Any other words of congratulations are welcome in this thread as well. |
