It looks like we will be dining elsewhere. I’m having trouble getting a space reserved. They have space available, but refused to let me have it because they want the group to pre-pay for one large meal. I explained that our group orders individually and this would not work. She again refused to accommodate us. Seems like poor customer service by Cowboy Jack’s to turn down business when there is plenty of room.

UPDATE: The manager called me this afternoon and we will give them another chance.

Way to hang in there Rusty. I've been liking Cowboy Jacks and it was WNC that introduced me to it! We've been there quite a few times since. Now having said that, I'm not sure we will be able to make the food portion of the program, but we're planning to come for the caching. The food is a maybe.

When I spoke to the manager I was asked how many in my group. I replied 15-20 and could not give a definite number. They want me to call if there will be more, so they can add staffing for our group.

Please post if your coming.

It should be a fun night with two FTFs, one being the tribute puzzle cache. A field puzzle will need to be found and solved and then on to the cache.

It gets complicated, but the geowife needs me to clear the kiddies out of the house tomorrow evening for a couple of hours.

Looks the two geokids and I are coming. Woot!

I'm looking to finally make it to one of these. Now, does the caching or the dining begin at 7:30? I can just picture myself sitting at the park for an hour eating BK in my car while everyone else is dining in comfort.
