Accepting Nominations...
Although we will accept nominations at any time, this thread is to remind everyone that we are accepting Nominations for Cache of the Month for March of 2012. You can submit COTM nominations by using one of the following three methods…1) Send msteffel or I (ArcherDragoon) a Private Message through MNGCA.org or 2) Send msteffel or I (ArcherDragoon) an Email through Geocaching.com or 3) Post a nomination in this thread. Nominations need to be written in a way that gives the reader a spoiler-free description of what make the cache special. You must include the Cache Owner, Cache Name and Waypoint with your nomination. Your nomination must also include a brief write-up for the cache (at least a sentence...but I would prefer something a bit longer...I honestly think we are capable of writing a couple sentences or a nice paragraph).
For full details check here, but the short version - if you find an outstanding cache, reply to this post!!! Nominations for March 2012 Cache of the Month will remain open until the end of the month (February 29th).

The Cage - A Night Cache - GC20PD6
We enjoy well thought out caches that have a unique spin to them. This fits that bill and ranks high on our list of fun night caches. We have done many night caches - both during nighttime and daylight - but the method of delivering information at stage one we had never seen before. Having done this cache at the intended time - night - we're not sure this would even be possible during daylight without inside information. We can't tell more without spoiling the fun of stage one. At the beginning of stage two there are very nice and easy to follow eyes that lead right to the cache. This park has nice trails and the cache is an enjoyable evening. Join some friends and try it out.
Edited (ArcherDragoon) to add link to cache page... |

I'd like to nominate UPV: A Puzzling Set of Circumstances by Bobcam. We put a lot of effort into finding this, but Bobcam put more effort into placing it. The terrain truly is five stars. It was a lot of fun working on this, and more effort than we were expecting. But it was a blast! |
