I ask the same question every year and this one is no different. So what was under your tree this year? _________________ Remember One does not need the MNGCA to geocache, but the MNGCA does need members to survive. |

You've been given a Gift Membership to the Domestic and International Variety Pack Beer of the Month Club. In each shipment you will receive twelve, 12-oz. beers, showcasing two different imported and two different domestic beer styles [three bottles of each style]. And you will learn how each beer is made, what to look for when you taste each beer, and much more by reading our accompanying monthly newsletter!
Your membership will begin in December and will continue for 4 months, shipping consecutive months. You should look for your shipments to arrive towards the end of each month. |

This year I got a new shop vac> I needed one of those as the old one is like 15vyears old and falling apart, and some gift cards form mom inlaw.
And from a friend here in town a Geocaching membership.
And just before christmas I found my 1000th cache. _________________ ---------------------------------------------------

Cabela's
Cabela's Predator™ Extreme Pac Boots – Brown
1,200-gram Thinsulate Ultra Insulation
9mm Texel liner
Dry-Plus barrier
Built for extreme warmth plus hunting boot comfort, the Predator Extreme is ready for everything from late-season hunts to snowmobiling adventures to ice fishing in sub-zero conditions. Constructed from the inside out with the key focus on warmth and comfort in brutally cold environments, the boot boasts a removable 9mm Texel® liner that warms your feet and draws moisture away from the surface of the skin. This liner also sports our exclusive heat pack pocket under the toe area for the coldest temperatures. And, for even more insulation, the boot is outfitted with a layer of 1,200-gram Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation for optimum heat retention. The moisture-wicking liner and removable Moisture Trap footbed work in unison to draw perspiration away from the skin, so your foot stays dry and warm. At the end of the day, simply pull both out and let them dry overnight. Thanks to our exclusive Dry-Plus® barrier, these boots also deliver 100% waterproof performance. For the ultimate abrasion resistance, the exterior is crafted with a full-grain leather shaft and polyurethane molded shell panels. Non-glare, dimpled PU panels. Matte-finished EVA midsole soaks up ground shock. Roller-bearing and hook lacing system. |

The family got a new Wii to replace the one that no longer reads discs (even after cleaning) and the new Skylander game to go with it.
I got a wide angle lense for my Flip Video Camera (on the recommendation of Mayberry Man). I also got a cool magnetic floating display thing...basically a round magnet hovers above a square platform and you can put stuff on the floating magnet...it's pretty cool.
The kids got toys and are very happy. |

| A brand new Nikon P500 "prosumer" camera. I love my Canon G6 so much that I owned two but camera technology has really taken off just in the last year or two. Looking forward to even cooler pictures to post on http://www.flentje.com . |

Garmin GPSmap 62s from my boyfriend...think I'll marry this one .
It's a few steps up from my legend and it will probably take me a year or two to figure out how it all works. _________________ Effective parks and recreation facilities do not just happen on their own. Maps for my new GPSr, groovy slippers, several gift cards, mittens. Not caching friendly, as they are white, but they are cute! Hubs got a beer making kit! I got a 'new to me' car 2 weeks ago, too, so I don't have to worry so much about breakdowns on those long caching trips. _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |
