I can make the new time and hope others can too. It would be nice to have a big group. Do I need to prepare anything?
Maybe put a note at the bottom of your original post noting the new date? |

| Oh darn. This Wednesday is really sticky for me since I have a conference call at 6 and I have to pick up my daughter from confirmation class at 8. I can be there for the first 1/2 hour but I would have to leave at 7:30. Should I still be there? Also, where exactly is the meeting (is there a room number)? I just want to make sure I have all the details since my schedule is so tight. |

| I'm not seeing much response to this new date. Should I reschedule for 2 weeks out or so? |

| 2 weeks out is MEA and a lot of people might be busy. We don't want to lose momentum. Hopefully other attendees will chime in soon. Even with my tight schedule, this week is better than the next two weeks. Too bad Thursday didn't work. |

I don't intend to attend the meeting but I would ask those that do to encourage Stu to work (ie. communicate) with the MN.Fruitcake. As Surfer Joe, I tried to open up communications with him and never got a response. Maybe I had an incorrect email address.
PS - Every time I see this thread name, I think of the Led Zeppelin song, "Boogie With Stu". _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

We have encouraged him to work with MN Fruitcake and have created .kml maps showing Stu that MN Fruitcake has or will have all the info he needs to approve caches only in the approved areas. Stu doesn't want to lose control. |

The problem is Stu doesn't know what he is controlling. He approved a spot for me and then approved a spot for another cacher 40 feet away. If it wasn't for the MN cache reviewers both would have been published. So why do we need two people approving caches? Give a list of off limit areas and let the GC.com reviewers deal with it.

I wasn't suggesting that he give up any control. Just open up communications so that when questions/issues arise, either him asking MNF or vice versa, they can get quickly resolved. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

And to be clear, I am suggesting he give up control |

| He needs some educating - he said to me once that even if GC.com does a good job of reviewing caches, he knows that there are other cachers that hide caches outside of GC.com. Ironic...he should be focusing on the renegade cachers/caching organizations (whoever they are) rather the GC.com cachers who are doing it the right way with Fruitcake. |

There is a distinct possibility that I will be in the cities on Wednesday evening already, so I may try and make this meeting. _________________ Hmm... |

| Wednesday is difficult for both of us. One is a definite no, the other has 2 meetings at the same time - difficult choice. |
