Darn it! Not that you didn't get shot, but that there isn't an interesting story. I was imagining all sorts of things. |

Lots of people like to explore, hike, and have fun. I wouldn't think you'd see too many people out in the wilderness though. |
people in the widerness is a problem when you get out of the metro area. they seem to think the wilderness is a great place for meth labs and pot growing operations, I,ve stumbled on the pot growing operations many times.......they seem to realy take it way to far by marking what kind of plant it is. |

Joking about getting shot is not funny!
A few years back I was hunting deer with bow and arrow. When some body decided to target shoot in a WMA, one bullet went by my right ear another by my left ear. I had to threaten to shoot back to stop it.
That person took off like a bat out of heck. I have also come across a meth lab dump out in the Chengwatana about 8 years ago while hunting.
With all the geocache hunting at some point many of you may find this too. Please report it when you do. |

| I ran into a bowhunter while caching in Oakdale a few years ago. I was sure startled, and am now aware that some of the close in areas can be open for hunting. I have an orange vest and make sure to use it. |

Oh go back to bed.
I've been shot in real life too, while duck hunting. My chest waders saved me from damage but it sure didn't stop the pain. |

No. It was an irresponsible geocacher walking through the woods during hunting season. Dude just shot blindly into the shrubbery before looking for the cache. |

| This topic has gotten off course..it was supposed to be a simple reminder to be careful when in the woods. I am closing it down. |
