A few of us are planning a tribute cache to spstanley for his 1,000th find. This will happen on Thursday, September 8, at 7:15pm in Hopkins. More details to come, but all are invited to attend! Should be a good cache for kids as well.
Details
When: Thursday, September 8, 7:15pm
Where: Valley Park, Hopkins, Assembly Coords: N 44 54.679 W 93 24.528
Post-caching: Park Tavern, 3401 Louisiana Avenue S, St. Louis Park (8:30pm or so)
Random teasers...
• Meet and talk with spstanley!
• Family friendly short hike to the cache.
• An FTF for all!
• Food/geocaching conversation/beverages/NFL opening night football after caching
We'll post more details here as things get closer to next Thursday!

That gives me time to create another nemesis cache since he didn't appreciate the theme of the last one created for sparkyfry.  |

In case you didn't know, spstanley is the author of Groundspeak's Wherigo app for the iPhone.
I'm happy to announce that he's just agreed to do an autograph session Thursday after he finds his cache. He will be signing iPhone screens with a nice thick Sharpie, so bring your iPhone so he can sign the screen for you. |
