I received my monthly Midwest Mountaineering newsletter email today. I see they are offering a program on Geocaching on July 24, presented by none other than our very own Bobhiker. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Yes, Yes, I have been asked to speak on the topic. Feel free to come and share any experiences you have had while Geocaching.
The following is from a Midwest Mountaineering email.
"Geocaching
Imagine hiking with your GPS through the forest until you find the secret
cache! You take the treasure intended for you, leaving one for the next
person. You can do this all over the world, from forest to city! Geocaching
is a relatively new and rapidly spreading activity that combines a
scavenger hunt with GPS technology. Join Robert Sime of the Minnesota
Geocaching Association to find out how you can participate!

Hey, if anyone would want to do a presentation like that at REI in Bloomington, call the store at 952-884-4315 and follow the menu item for Special Events. I believe the gentleman's name is Dan and he would be interested in hearing what you have to say.
