| The only issues I have had (no iphone) is that I get fired up because 4 new email notifications come in for Hibbing this morning, and I have 3/4 to 1 hour free in Hibbing this afternoon, and none of those caches look doable in that short amount of time. |

Maybe you can bring that older fellow with you??

Is anyone else getting odd email notifications? A coin I own was dropped in a cache, and I clicked on the cache link in the email: Off the Leash http://coord.info/GL28Z92. I was taken to: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=11afc611-4894-41d3-a8b3-158034fc8316, an archived cache in California.
This is the second time this week I have gotten a link in a notification that has taken me to a completely different cache.
Is anyone else having the same issues? _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

It should be, but the link I posted was copied right out of the email I got. _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

You think that's weird, now I'm getting log emails with the finder missing:

| With what Red Devil posted, WE HAVE BEEN HAVING THAT PROBLEM TOO! We would get an email about a trackable and click on the link to the cache it was in and it would bring us to a different cache page all together (one a couple thousand miles away from the actual one). And the weirdest part was that the shown url was correct (the /GCXXXX was the correct GC code) but the link that it brought us too was not. We also had the first issue for 2 days where our emails would show up blank. But they are better now! |

Actually now that I look, I had at least 40 emails like this. I think this is just a typo somebody made when they changed the email format. Before Aug 2, all my coin emails had the long cache.details.htmlx link format for the cache page. Then around Aug 2 they changed it so they all had the shorter (but broken) coord.info/GLXXXX link to the cache. All the coin-related emails I received after that have the broken cache page link (except for discovery emails that don't mention a cache), until Aug 18 when they fixed it. I received one bad email on Aug 20 but the rest have been fine since then. |
