I hate to bring up the State fair this early in the summer but there it is. The DNR has invited us out to man a booth as the MnGCA and geocaching for the 3rd year. I am looking for volunteers to help out. We explain geocaching and generally talk geocaching with fair-goers.

I have tickets for 9 but anyone can come out a hang out. we have a really great time.

It is on Thursday August 25th from 8:00am to about 5:00. We run 2 shifts 8:00 to 12:30 and 12:30 to 5:00. I think, in the past nearly everyone hung out all day then we hit the beer garden.

People that have helped in past years have first dibbs on the free tickets then it is first come first served.

Brad has a tent for us to use this year.

Did you get my message that I am able to help? I also have EZ pop-up tents, if you want to use them.
David will also be with me.
I don't need tickets, as I get them at work.

I had such a good time volunteering last year & had planned on doing it again. Since then I've made plans to attend GEOCOINFEST 2011 - EUROPA and will miss the entire fair. I would love to volunteer again in 2012!
