Just a tip and method I used for drying those wet, muddy, smelly geo shoes after finding a swamp hide by TopGear this mourning. Very Happy

Looks like a nice idea but the fan isn't spinning. They'd dry much quicker if you set your thermostat to 68 degrees. Smile

Go to any store that sells sporting goods. I won't name any, they are everywhere. Buy a PEET boot dryer. They will work well all year. About $35

You call this an efficient geoshoe dryer? isn't the A/C supposed to suck alot of energy?

If you're using it anyway, it is very efficient. Thanks for the great idea, beagleboo!

If it's February, it would be frozen solid.

Yep. you'd need to bring them into the heat and then to the dryer heat dryer heat dryer, and plus if you walk through mud you don't want a dryer then the mud'll be on there forever. And if it's February you don't want the A/C then anyway. A cold house in the dead of winter yeesh, at least you'd have dry shoes though, and at that time of year it's all about the dry BOOTS!!!!!

Too bad that's not a portable solution; it'd be great for drying off logs. Smile
