Don't you think it's kind of sad that a place with over 2,000 registered members has never had more than 21 people online at the same time? That's just over 1% of your members. What's wrong with trying to promote a little more activity around here? Even if it's just for the sake of a 'record' ... |

Well, I guess maybe not for you... but here's where my perspective is coming from:
I created my own forum about two months ago. It only has 75 members. And we've already had more online at one time (26) than this place.
I guess I don't understand why some of you guys aren't on board with trying to promote a little more activity on here. |

Promoting activity...sure...but I don't think this "record" deal is really promoting any sort of activity other than to log on...

Can't have activity if nobody ever logs on. Logging on is the first step. You don't think that if 20 people are online at one time there won't be more activity?
If you've got a better idea, I'd love to hear it. If you don't want to participate in trying to get a new record, then that's up to you. But I see no reason why you guys need to try to rub this idea out because you happen to share a different opinion. |

Just because the counter hasn't moved doesn't mean people are are not logging on to take a look around...just means people are not on at the same time.
As someone asked, are we even sure that the counter works...
