If I read my email notifications correctly, our dear Fruitcake must certainly have set some sort of record:
50 caches published in 22 minutes !
I don't know how anybody in the history of Groundspeak could have approved at better than a 2 cache per minute pace for a reasonable minumum number of caches - like 50 maybe. _________________ -Paklid |

Having good reviewer notes, along a trail that is basically in the country, depicted on the map, and a fast internet connection all help. |

Thinking of doing them on Sunday this week. _________________ If you're successful in what you do over a period of time, you'll start approaching records, but that's not what you're playing for. You're playing to challenge and be challenged.--Lou Brock |

After. Grab them on the east side going up, the west side going back down. Then lunch! _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

| Going to be driving right by these on the way from Eau Claire to Rapid City SD. this weekend. A great excuse to stay another weekend in Hudson though on another trip to the area. Look like a lot of fun. |

| Just reading that all Border crossing into Minnesota may be closed Friday at noon, due to budget negotiations???? This was posted in our Chronicle Journal newspaper. What's up with that ? Any truth to this? Just when we have a trip planned to South Dakota this weekend and have to cross into Mn. Good grief. Is that no an essential service? |

I haven't heard that. That wouldn't make sense; the border crossing is federal, and they don't shut down the border even for a federal gov't shutdown. |

| Now that sounds like good news. I sure hope that is fact, otherwise an 8 hour trip to Winnipeg, then dip down into North Dakota (which is under water) then to Rapid City. Wonder why that was posted in our local newspaper, but not online? I know that the rest stops are now shut down. We help with maintaining Cutface Creek Rest Area and it is now closed. Temporary pavement is being put down on highway 61 at Splitrock State Park in preparation of highway construction shut down, with one hour long delays. Thanks for a glimmer of hope pfalstad. |

Borders are federally patrolled, not state. Now anything close to them, ie welcome centers, state parks, rest stops etc that are state run are now closed, and don't go too fast, the State Patrol is still on the road! |

| It would be interesting if a shutdown of state government meant nobody could enter or leave the state. |
