Stories about geocaching have been featured on the Minnesota News Network today. This news group has about 70 affiliates located throughout Minnesota. The stories talk about the fact they are more than 13 hundred geocaches in Minnesota and have comments from Chuck King (don't know who that is but assume he is a player.) They also say the DNR doesn't allow them in State Parks, but does give the geocaching website. Nice to see the publicity.... _________________ If I'm not Crazy, am I Sane??? |

Okay so I knew you people would know who this person is, but since I'm not "in" with the Twin Cities group I don't. Anyway since I work in Radio I've been helping to spread the word for years now.
By the way how do you get your stats to appear with your posts. And how do you change what the graphic is and what it says at the bottom.
Thanks _________________ If I'm not Crazy, am I Sane??? |

On your /my/ page there is a link to the image itself. Copy that shortcut and put that in your "signature" in your "Profile":
Here is what mine looks like (your's *will* be different)
| Code: |

okay, so I tried a few times and couldn't get it. I see that box on my profile page, but where are you getting the link? Is that from the properties?
Thanks,

Thanks for the help, but still doesn't appear to be working. I pasted from your message, but when it updates the profile and I look at the details again it is shorter...different.
Have to get back to work for now...will have to try again later...... _________________ If I'm not Crazy, am I Sane??? |

It would be best to look at a previously done message as your signature will update across ALL messages you have posted. That will be the best way to check and see if it worked. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

That may be, but I also heard he's a major geo-stud. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

I heard his geo-stud status was revoked after a 7:45am call to a certain cache owner for help on a recently hidden cache _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

| I heard this Chuck fellow will often log a find if he's able to find the parking for the cache. |

Geocaching is Catching On
(Undated) -- A new high tech outdoor pursuit is becoming increasingly popular, but not with the D-N-R. Geocaching (gee-oh-CASH'-ing) is like a G-P-S scavenger hunt where people hide weatherproof boxes in parks for other people to find. The D-N-R says due to concerns related to natural resource protection, visitor safety, staff workloads and liability, geocaches are not permitted. Participants say they help parks, because those taking part are encouraged to pick up litter while in the parks. There are more than 13-hundred geocaches hidden in Minnesota right now according to Geocaching-dot-com. |
