Sorry for calling you a newbie, TonkaMN
I couldn't remember who I had heard it was, and I wasn't there. I should've dug up the forum post My bad.
As for me tonight, I may end up having a date with my laundry basket |

Compared to some cachers I am a newbie. I only have 1560 finds. Ispy and other cachers get that many in three days |

You almost had the story straight. It was a newbie to mngca - me - who climbed a tree after tonkamn's heroics. I figured if a chain-link fence was "safe enough", I probably wouldn't die grabbing what could have been a metal container a good ways up a tree.
As for tonight, I can almost see zeke's from my house, but we have company. Maybe I'll bring (or ditch) them. |

These things aren't like the Twins. They don't get cancelled for rain.
Heck, a recent WNC, they sent one of the newbies climbing a metal chain link fence in a lightning storm |
Hey TonkaMN isn't a newbie!
We're in - unless the weather is crazy. Our very first WNC was in a pouring rain thunderstorm. It was raining buckets and we were sliding down hills in the mud. It was crazy. That's where we met Cooky and Red Devil. Don't remember who else. |
I think MnCavepeople was there. And boy did it rain! But, in for a penny, in for a pound. |
I should dig out the logs for those caches sometime to set my memory straight. We weren't doing any kind of PnG caching. I think we managed to find a cache that had been DNF'd several times previously...and the fish we caught was HUGE! |

| I'm planning on being there. I DNF'd Echo Location during the winter, so it will be nice to give it another try. |

This was the most fun caching I think I've ever had. Just great! I'm hooked. I hope there's a next week. Thanks, Rusty!
Please check out my idea for WNC for this Friday. We're going to three MicroManias. The next time, WNC will get the FTF for the Final Micro. I hope to see some, if not all.
(we will be doing 1, 3, and 4. 4 has been the most tricky, so I suggest anyone should come grab it.) |

| Thanks for organizing the fun tonight. I was so glad to get home and have no woodticks, just wet feet. Great hides and fellowship out on the trail. Sorry I could not join the group at Zeke's afterwords, maybe next time. |

| Had lots of fun on this WNC. Met some more cachers and found some good caches. Thanks Rusty for hosting this event. |

I was soaked to the skin, picked a tick off my back, and sticks out of my hair. All in all, a typical WeekNIGHT. Thanks for the good times everybody! _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |
