Your nominations for June Cache of the Month are:
GCGW4T - Three Hour Tour by tomslusher nominated by threenow24
It's a golden-oldie that has only been visited 26 times since 2003. The cache requires a boat in summer or nice hike in winter, it's a blast either way. Thanks to tomslusher for placing this all those years ago, I think it's COTM material.
GC2T2RB - Gauntlet 2011 - Child's Play by seldon nominated by a-body
This is a six stage multi in Canon River Wilderness Area south of Northfield. All stages require some sort of puzzle on-site, and a 3+ mile hike total. All stages are meant to be found, and like the title, all could be solved by a child. Good Luck
GCV87C - Let the Walleye point the way! by Team Dogs nominated by mnfishnutz
This was a really fun cache which took us at least three tries to find. It was cameoed really well and was in a beautiful location as well as the cache namesake being really neat. This cache is a must find in our area and is one of our all time favorites.
GC2EW2H - Magnetic Rock by Boreal Walker nominated by bflentje
It's a wonderful example of geology in one of the coolest places on Earth. This is no run of the mill glacial erratic earthcache. The adventure is top notch.
Voting will be open till the end of the month*. Good luck to all the nominees and keep those great caches coming!
*Note: Due to how the polling works in phpBB (there may be other ways around it that I'm not familiar with) the poll may be open for some time past 11:59:59 pm on the last day of the month. When a poll is open it is set to be open for a certain number of days, so if for some reason the poll can't be open right at 11:59:59 (say a production issue at work, busy with non-caching activities, feel asleep, etc) then there will be some 'bonus' voting time. |
