I will be a speaker at the 2011 Minnesota Library Association annual meeting this fall. My topic: Geocaching in libraries! I need your help. Please let me know of your favorite library or library related caches. I have been working and Stampingwithbeth with Jousisisku so I am aware of some caches already. Feel free to post here, or email or message me. Caches may be out-state and out-of-state.
I did a keyword search on "library" and over 500 came up, but that was from around the world, and I know there are caches without the word "library" in the cache name. |

| Geocaching in libraries? (Apparently I am still too new to this hobby.) Can you please post a few of the more interesting ones here? I'm curious to check some of these out. |

| My all time favorite library cache was in the Philadelphia Free Library GCGN0D (now archived). My next favorite is the one in Northfield, MN (GCNNFH). I've also done every other local library cache, and a couple in SD and WY, and love everyone of them. |

| Ogolook has 5 library caches in and around Spirit Lake, Iowa. They were the first I'd done and I really enjoyed them all (still have 1 left to do). |

| The South St Paul library has a nice cache, as does Hayden Heights in St Paul. |

Two stand out in our minds
one in Concord, Massachusetts -David's Tome GCPRJ1- was awesome and lot of fun. The librarians were incredbily helpful and a beautiful library.
and the other one is the Plymouth library -enigma di biblioteca GC 2503J- A very creative cache container and also a lot of fun. |

One of my favorite caches is in a Library in Northfield, MN. The Constance Doty Memorial Geocache is named after the former Head Librarian of the Northfield Library. To make the fine you will need to spend some time in the Reference Section.
There is another called Reference located in Saint Cloud Branch of the Great River Regional Library. It's a good hide, too!
Good luck on your presentation,

Awesome! Keep them coming! Thanks!
BTW, the one that got me into caching was Due We Dez Maul (GCPK8F) in White Bear Lake. Hidden in July 2005. |
