It looks like a go for me. I am going to try to clean out Purgatory Park, again, starting around 5 if anyone wants to join me.

The hounds have had their fun with I Spy, Geopierce and, Pippin and Merry claiming the FTF rights.
For the precachers, the the new caches in the area are:

Give me a C - I - T - O, What's That Spell?
My Cousin Vinnie
ENIAC-Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer
Old Yeller
Frosty Mug of Cache

I noticed FTF hounds shows up on the beta map and not ENIAC. But ENIAC will show on the old map. I guess that's progress Laughing .

Yeah, I thought it was weird that the FTF Hounds Rickrich cache was still showing up on the map after being archived.

Make sure to start with Micro in the Woods. Smile

Is there a good spot to park at Purgatory?

Also what about at Lone Lake Park?

(this is out of our normal area)

Also, are the caches at Purgatory park mostly along a trail (paved), trying to decide if 1) Andrew should come with and 2) Should we bring his bicycle.

Thanks!!!

There's a large parking lot at the north end or a dead end street at the south east end but it looks like there's more caches at the north end. (Including that Micro in the Woods)

I'm not sure but I think we're meeting on the east side of the park where there is a small shelter. This is the parking lot. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=44.899998,-93.428904

Most of them are near the paved trails around the edges of the park but some are near the dirt trail that runs north/south down the middle. You can clearly see most of the trails in google maps.

We're definitely going to make it for pre-caching. I'm especially interested in the Whereigo (if the WIGO app on my blackberry works).

I was going to park at the north lot, just as you get into the main part of the park, by the bathrooms. I have the coords for the caches I haven't found. I haven't done the Wherigo, any idea how long it takes?

GC is back up.
There is a small parking lot by Why in the woods.
I already have that one, so I am going to park just south of Cache: Traveling thru Purgatory I have that too, but it is a fun one, so I can do it again. Then I figured I would start around in a circle with Sharks and get as many as I can before it is time to meet up with the rest of the group.

I did the Wherigo last week and it took me 2.5 hours, because I made every decision wrong.

Cache page advertises about an hour.
