| Found my 400th multicache this weekend after having done the 8 north shore state parks. The avian cache at Split Rock was the milestone find. Probably the toughest hike of the 8 parks for sure, if you follow my route. |

After 8 1/2 years of caching, I hit 500 on Christmas Day...196 of them were in 2012. _________________ Effective parks and recreation facilities do not just happen on their own. I just grabbed cache 3700, cache PBT0038 along the Paul Bunyan Trail. It was on of my 100+ day up there. Lots more fun than I thought it would be, the 100 cache thing not the PBT.

Your FB statement about that experience is interesting. Your first and probably only 100 cache day. I like stats as much as the next guy but I am in agreement that 100 cache days aren't my style. I've done it once or twice, and might even do it again. But I certainly don't need to do it on a regular basis. While I only average about 1000 cache finds a year, I like the fact that my finds aren't all two week old 1.5/1.5 micros. And having said that, I judge NO ONE that does enjoy the 100 find day, day after day. |
