I came across this article today.

Two encrypted notes were stuffed into a murder victim's pockets in 1999 and the FBI is asking amateur slueths to help break the codes which may help solve the case. So for those of you serious puzzlers, this might be a chance put your puzzle skills to a good use! Or maybe just find a new code for your next puzzle
