| Just returned from a trip to Grand Marais today. We experienced snow and high winds along the North Shore, but oh so beautiful watching the huge waves crash onto the ice and snow covered shore. But ya, winter is a little too long. |

Can we get rid of the snow, but keep the ice for awhile? I still have some island caches up north I want to try and get to before spring.  |
