| Anyone have a battery compartment cover for an abandoned Garmin 60 series they want to part with? That little tab at the bottom of mine broke off. |

I considered using camo duct tape, but it covered the screen and buttons. Right now I'm using rubber bands. No sticky residue. |

I thought I was out of luck when my gps 76 series tab broke off awhile back. Garmin lead me to gpscity for the part I needed. Now if I could just find someone to give my old 76 a badly needed paint job.

If you need a quick fix, I'll sell you mine for $12 (that's about what gpscity is asking for the part plus shipping) and I'll order a replacement. Right now I cache exclusively with my Oregon and no longer use my 60CSx - I'm just hanging on to it as a backup. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

I was hoping that someone who told their spouse they needed a new Oregon because their 60 series was 'broken' might be willing to part with it.
Looks like I'll have to order one from GPS City. That's where Garmin said to locate one. |

| gpscity is really fast. I ordered late Friday afternoon and the cover was in my mailbox Monday morning. And that was with standard delivery. |

I had the same tab break off mine today so I had to get one ordered from GPScity. Only place I could find that had them so I guess i'll pay the $12 it costs to get one. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

The tab has broken off my 60cx twice and both times Garmin has sent me another one for free. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Wish I could say that. Ordered it on the 13th. It still has not showed up. For some reason it went from the USPS in Minneapolis to the USPS in Sacramento, CA. Just looked and now it is back in Minneapolis. Wonder where it will go this time? _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!
