I once brought up the fact that I thought the MNGCA logo was amazingly similar to the MN DNR logo. I never meant anything by it and certainly was not insinuating any lack of creativity or nefarious use of intellectual property. Seriously.
Today I was surfing around trying to find out information about the opening of the Snowqualmie Pass Tunnel #50 out in Washington. A Google hit brought me to the Washington State Geocaching Association. No big deal.
But then it dawn on me that their logo...
Looks incredibly similar to...
Again, not insinuating a thing. Just had a deja vue moment. |

| Oops, I had NO idea there actually was some kind of controversy regarding these logos. I am being honest when I say I ran into the WSGA website and then had a deja vue with our neighboring website. |

The logos are somewhat similiar, but the Wisconsin Geocaching Association Board of directors contacted Washington's board a number of years ago. Neither the WA group or the WI cares, so it is not a big deal. Seems like a pretty trivial and accidental similiarity to me.
