| I agree with Rude Rat. "Everyone" should stay inside and not chase those FTFs. Who needs a FTF anyway. The risk of running into something like that out caching far out weighs the reward. Oh, have to run Sharknose is calling me on the other line... |
My winter DNF count has gone way down since I've started to wait for the FTF wave to go after the cache, then I'll just follow their tracks to the prize. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

| I saw something pretty scary last night too! Can anybody tell me what the thing on the left of this picture is? |

Not to worry. I am never one to chase a FTF in Iraq. I'll let someone else be the first. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

I can only assume that the one with the raccoon hat is trying to tell me a secret code. Must try and decipher. Running the language matrix through the universal translator. |

OMG, I knew he ran with a certain crowd but had no idea he was talented too. Bravo. No guts no glory. |

Early forms of communication often involved hitting things with sticks or rocks to produce certain sounds, usually in the pursuit of food or companionship. To assume some sort of code or message is intended may go beyond the cranial capacity of these creatures, but is an interesting thought none the less. This trail cam footage of one continually hitting an object with it's paws as it howls emphasizes the need for caution while in their environment. As I said earlier, please be careful, and enjoy them form a distance. _________________ Ahhhhhhhh, the power of cheese! |

| I just got a phone call. Out on a full moon those are out on a full moon. I believe that the lycanthrope kicked in and the raccoon thing ate the weird bunny looking thing. The screaming was horrible. Anyone that goes for the cache next should bring a bag and shovel. |

| We’ve all been there. Sitting at home caught up in our lives when the phone or PC dings to alert us to a new cache. Without giving it a thought, we jump to our feet and head for the door keying in coordinates as we go. Well, you’re not alone, and if you’re not careful, you might run into this, or worse this. Is that FTF really worth the risk? Please, be careful and never cache alone. |
Lucky for me I live north so it is too cold for them........ scary scary scary. |

Clearly not. He would never wear something so ridiculous. *cough* I'm glad you didn't ask if the other one was me, because clearly I'd never dress in such an impractical manner either. |

| Yep, really scary. I'd rather get the wrong coords than run into these. |
