Quick post to save the date and get people thinking, I'll clean it up later. It's about dang time I host one of these things
Red Rock Isle
It's on an island, so by summer you'll need water-based transportation. This time of year, we can simply walk out to it
Butcher and Maznroll were just out this week, so it's findable And if it doesn't snow between now and then...
Suggested meeting: N44 50.993 W 093 28.384
Food - Lion's Tap 16180 Flying Cloud Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55347

Food - open to suggestions, but my first thought is Lion's Tap. |
I'd love to get that one. I need a 2.5/4.5 for my grid. I am going to try to make it. |

Sweet! I need a cache that day, and I need to fill in that box on my D/T grid. It's a twofer! _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

We also have both boxes open. I may have to take one for the team.
Do you think we will need snowshoes? |

I'm not sure how we'll have to approach this one. I have found that the snow on the lakes is not very deep and I haven't needed snowshoes. Maybe Butcher can give us some direction. |

| I'd be up for that but I don't own snow shoes so it would be good to know if they would be 'required' to make the find |

I went in on a small park near the Island and made a short walk. I never put my snowshoes on as the ice has less than an inch of snow on it. I used snowshoes on Hyland lake and saw how the snow has left the ice. By then maybe it would be a park and grab as the ice is getting quite thick. _________________ Animals taste good |

Is that the path off Coachmans Lane? _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

Coachman comes to a junction and you go left on Village Woods Dr. to N44 50.993 W 093 28.384 and there is a trail to the lake culdasak parking and street parking is there _________________ Animals taste good |
