I'd be interested in those chirps. |

Guess what came in the mail today? Two Chirps! Here's a picture:
Thanks ST11. They work great! I am going to make a 3 stage multi out out of them! I will also make it so people without chirp-enabled GPS' can do it too!!! Thanks again! I'll add that to the cache onto the list when I get it hidden! |

Glad they worked out for you. I could never get them to chirp they just sat there. Perhaps I need a hearing ear dog |

Feel free to refer me to any other thread (and sorry if this starts a flame war) but why aren't the chirp caches difficulty 5? Don't they require specialty equipment ?
I'm sure this was debated previously but I must have missed it. |

I don't remember a discussion about it but I guess there's enough geocachers who have a gps that can receive the chirp signal but not many geocachers drive around with a scuba tank or ladder strapped to their vehicle. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Alot of us carry around Oregons now days so if you have the right equipment they're pretty easy.

Did you have an Oregon and if you did, did you have Chirp Searching on?
Thanks again.

Well, chirps do not exactly "chirp" but they talk to your GPS (see compatible devices) and give you coordinates, once you've received the coordinates you GPS will chirp letting you know you got coords. Do you have a compatible device?
