Some pretty old ones, too, I see. What's really sad is that I know some of those will probably not be picked up by the cache owners. There are a couple in Schaar's Bluff that belong to friends that I will pick up next time I'm down that way (probably not until spring). One of them belongs to WithoutAPaddle, the cachers that are currently more involved in fighting leukemia than registering caches. That one will be an easy grab for me. _________________ Alcohol & calculus don't mix. Don't drink & deriv |

How sad I found a few but would have liked the chance to get the others. To bad this had to happen. |

I thought you had registered all of yours, Bart. Why did you decide to skip the ones in Spring Lake Park? _________________ Alcohol & calculus don't mix. Don't drink & deriv |

I adopted them. I had good intentions, but I was sick most of last week and/or trying to keep 30" snow from leaking into the house.
I got two email notifications fron dcparks, and aasked them which caches? No response. |

Ah, I see... so, it's Kitch's fault, then. _________________ Alcohol & calculus don't mix. Don't drink & deriv |

The King owns them now though my name may still be on the listing. They didn't get registered? That's too bad.. The Victimize Geocachers was my favorite over there of the ones I planted.
KB, I'll register that one if Fruitcake is willing to unarchive it and you're willing to adopt it back to me. The others I don't care about so much. |

Unless of course you'll eventually register them. I only want it back if you decide to hang these caches up permanently. Only goal is to keep it active, not to necessarily own another cache. |

I think we need a ruling.
If the caches are registered, can they be unarchived? |

As long as the cache meets the current guidelines I don't see any issues. |

Do coordinates N 44° 45.646 W 092° 56.194 fall anywhere in the off limits list? I only have hand drawn off limits maps.. I don't have a KML, KMZ or other GIS file. |

I created a public bookmark list of all archived caches in the Schaar's Bluff portion of Spring Lake Park (the upper part) to assist anybody (besides myself) that wants to go out and pick up the containers. If you do so, please post a note to the cache page that you have done so and I will remove it from the list: http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=485db9ee-2c79-4ce4-9382-cb0587e9fa5b
I did post some spoilers on a couple of the caches, but I will also remove them from the bookmark list if they should be registered and unarchived at some later date. _________________ Alcohol & calculus don't mix. Don't drink & deriv |
