It's true. Cache-Luck 2012 is just starting the planning phase. I'm going to need some help, however. This year there shall be a Theme. This could be "evil micros" or even "creative ammo boxes."
Please post your brainstorms of themes. Please write as many as you feel are necessary to fully convey a true brainstorm.
Round One - Brainstorms
Round Two - I weed out my favorites
Round Three - Vote
Here are the brainstorms that have made the first round so far:
Creatures and Critters
Kid Friendly
Everyday Items
Easter
Hare Club for Men
South Park
Creative Ammo Boxes
The Anti-Micro

What is Cache-Luck 2012? It's hard to float ideas for something you don't understand. _________________ Ahhhhhhhh, the power of cheese! |

From my 2011 page:
"It's take a cache, leave a cache. All you need to do is buy or make a cache, wrap it up or put it in a bag (so it isn't visable) , and bring it to the coordinates at the time specified. Try to make it a geocache kit. If you can, put a pencil, log, and maybe even some SWAG. If you search Google for 'geocache logs', you can print some. That's what I always do! Remember, just like trading SWAG, if you don't bring a geocache, you can't take a geocache. There will be a contest for 'Best Geocache' at the end." |

I would steer away from anything religious. You want your event to be open to as many people as possible.
Last years was great and it’s nice to add a theme, but I don’t think you should change it. Butcher has a lot of good ideas and I will try to think of one myself. |

Who prays to Peter Cottontail and his friends? Almost all Holidays are comercial in the US these days. Eggs,Bunnies,Ducklings, and caching is a big outdoor Egg hunt of sorts anyway. _________________ Animals taste good |

Ammo Boxes would be a great theme area to work with...we just don't see enough of them out there (Regular Sized Caches)... _________________ You may only be young once...but I will be immature forever!!! |
