This sounds like a nice opportunity for a MnGCA member, sounds like they are set up well but need some experience and guidance.
Please contact Anastasia directly.
I work for the Girl Scouts and every year we put on a large camping event
at Camp Lake Hubert/Camp Lincoln in Nisswa, MN called Our World, Our
Family. We host over 1,000 girls and adults and put on over 60 sessions for
the girls to choose, ranging from archery to scrapbooking and super science
to jazzy jewelry. This year we are having a Geocaching session. We are
looking for volunteers to come and teach some Geocaching to the girls. We
have about 25 GPS units and will have caches hidden around the camp. We
need someone to come and talk about Geocaching and teach them how to use
the GPS units. The dates of the camp are Saturday, September 11th-Sunday,
September 12th. Our sessions are 60 minutes long and we have 7 of them. 5
are on Saturday and 2 are on Sunday morning. I would love to chat with
someone more about this, or appreciate someone passing this along to
whomever might be able to attend. If someone could get back to me, I would
greatly appreciate it. Thank you for the consideration1
