We've been wanting to make this a WNC since it was published, but there always was something getting in the way. Well finally this week is the week. Nominated for this month's cache of the month it promises to be a great night. The fact that it's a puzzle to be solved in the field makes it great for those of you who shy away from puzzles - finding it with a group!
Ribbon - GC2686J Here's the note from the nominators: This cache contains many of the things we enjoy most about geocaching. It is in a park; it is not a Park-n-Grab; it is a puzzle; it even contains a little “tease” about what you might expect when you seek it. Puzzles (especially ones we are able to solve) are some of our favorites. This puzzle you do not have to solve before you get there. Don’t overlook this puzzle, anyone can get started on this one! It is extremely creative in its design and very well done! Thanks GeoPierce for putting this one out for us!
Also
FTF HOUNDS MN STYLE - Minnstars
My Toot Toot - GC2A9TE
There are others in the park for pre-caching but we've found most of them already.
Meet at: N 44 51.926, W 93 33.541 at 7:30. This is parking by Planets: Neptune. If you don't have that one yet go ahead and get it while waiting.
We'll Do the caches in reverse order. So:
Toot Toot
FTF HOUNDS - Minnstars
Ribbon
BWW afterwards for refreshments unless someone comes up with a better idea.

I think you should also stop at the other cache nominated for Cache of the Month, so that people are fully knowledgable when casting their ballots. |

I hope the "other" campaigns you participate in aren't as shady as this one. LOL. |

Thanks for picking my fun puzzle! I guess I'll have to be there this week.
Would anyone be interested in adding FTF HOUNDS MN STYLE - Minnstars? I know it is older but some may have DNFd it or hesistant to risk a DNF. I'd be happy to help anyone who wants to give it a try.

| I want to go!!! But I think I'm committed to a Saints game that night. Hal-oween and I have it on our shortlist to do by the end of the month so hopefully our 2 heads are as smart as y'alls! |

That sounds like fun. I have been meaning to get back out that way and find some more of GP's puzzles. I am also very interested in 'My Toot Toot' since I DNF'd it a couple weeks ago while in the park finding another puzzle. |

Sparky also has a wonderful cache that has been nominated for cache of the month and worthy of the title. I've done it already. Haven't done Ribbon. Sorry Sparky, this was on my radar for WNC before it got nominated! I didn't want to do it alone!

Good suggestion that I've added to the list. We've already found this one, but it would be fun watching/helping others find it. A safe one to do with a group. I'll keep these three and the others can be left for pre-caching.

I'd be good with trying something new. Any suggestions? |

Cool! I think I can make it with the geokid(s). Looking forward to it.
I already voted for COTM, though. Some short guy with a shaved head and a baseball bat showed up at my door last week and threatened me if I didn't vote for one in Golden Valley. |

I better bring a new container just in case it is gone. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

If anyone wants to meet for pre-caching please let me know. I am planning to grab some before and I am pretty wide open as far as what I need in that area. |
