Warehouse / Forklift
I was trained by the Army for warehouse and forklift back in the 80's and have been doing that kind of work for the better part of the last 25 years.
The last company I worked at for 6 years closed their doors and the one before that for 10+ years sent our jobs to China.
I am looking for that type of work in the west metro.
If anyone sees or hears of anything please e-mail me or post it here.
Thanks for any help you could give me.

I was forklift and gravy train certified by the United States Navy back in the 80's. I never did find a job using those skills so went into software development instead and have never looked back. |

That is a great web site thanks.
I think I have all the web sites out there.
I'm hoping that someone out there might hear of a warehouse job and pass the info on.
But any info will help thanks _________________ Well the first days are the hardest days, don't you worry any more

I know it's too far away from you. But my employer just put a job in the paper this week looking for a(n) evening shipping person (4-midnight roughly), but that is in Montevideo and not western metro. You would be working in the cold though. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

I feel your pain - I've been looking for work ever since I came home from Iraq (which is why I've found almost 1000 caches so far this calendar year).
Have you tried Aerotech, Volt, or Express? They're staffing services for industrial type jobs. I've been applying for between 10-20 positions a week with them, and hopefully soon something I throw at that wall is bound to stick. Of course, my minimum is $15/hr (I was making close to $6000 a month tax-free in Iraq, after all, plus I have over 10 years of manufacturing experience), so that can be why I haven't found anything yet - if you're willing to accept $10-$13 an hour, you should have better luck than I've had. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

Good luck with the job hunting I was out of a job for only four months and it sucked. Check Craigslist I found my current job there. _________________ Remember One does not need the MNGCA to geocache, but the MNGCA does need members to survive. |
